A Nose Job
for a bruised Bandit ARF

We had some nasty crosswinds to deal with at a recent jet meet but we flew anyway. The nose of the Bandit ARF got damaged - a few fractures in the fiberglass forward of the nose gear mounting.  After patching the epoxy glasswork from the inside and then using "Evercoat 400" polyester finish putty (available at auto paint supply stores) to smooth the outside, we decided that changing the red trim line would be easier than trying to match and blend the grey paint.
The results: back in the air quick and classy!
