There were 24 KingCats at the event. This Star's and Bar's version is being flown by Tom Dodgen.

Color contrast, flowing lines and lettering afford visibility - primary considerations on these painted-in-the-mold ARF's.

Ray Blair's smoking Blue Angel Phantom was beautifully displayed during the "Scale Hour". The NAVY blue and gold scheme was brilliant in the Florida sun.

BVM Rep David Reid did a great job exercising his Rhino, complete with a parachute on landing roll out. David uses a JetCat P-120 for power and it is a perfect match for the airframe.

About to compete in its third and final Top Gun event, the famous "Pretty Penny" was flown 4 times during Florida Jets - kind of a warm up for Joe Grice's model. The Hun handles the crosswind landing with ease.

Plywood platforms served for start-up and taxi to the runway while the pilots stood behind a safety fence. Spectators were seperated by a chain link fence. The field layout worked well - a few improvements are planned for '05.

Peter Weiss takes to the sky with his F-4 during the "Scale Hour".

Craig Gottschang readies his F-4 Phantom for flight, getting clearance from the flight line directors (Mike Zubrizky and Scott Smith) prior to starting. Accomodating the great numbers of pilots, especially during peak hours of operation, takes some planning and an experienced flightline crew.
