102 Registered pilots, perfect weather, super runway and a noon time show that attracted 4500 carloads of spectators marked the success of the 13th annual event. The organization and dedication of the T.O.R.K.S. club members under the guidance of Terry Nitsch and president Matt Short provided the pilots and spectators a great jet show. Our thanks to all for their efforts.

The Best Finish Sport Jet trophy was deservedly awarded to Dustin Buescher for his stunning BobCat. This young engineering student is already a great builder and jet pilot - what a future!

William Jackson (with friend Darla) is now a confirmed Bandit enthusiast. He is the fourth owner of this BVM .91/Viojett powered model originally built by John Redman. William will add many flights to the already 400 plus on this airframe.

Ben Burden and pretty fiance, also an R/C pilot truly enjoyed the "Scramble" logging many flights on this Maverick, some in formation with Dustin and his F-86.

Pete and Dave Malchione always enjoy the Ohio Scramble with their BVM Jets, this time with a Bandit and a Phantom. Dave also assisted Mark Frankel by flying his new Sky Ray - a NAVY jet from the 50's.

Scott Greenia now has 241 flights on his Bandit. That says a lot about what a good pilot he is and how well he maintains his equipment.

The BVM F-80 Shooting Star in Naval Air Reserve colors was flown at the Scramble with the new electric start SWB Mamba engine providing scale like reliable performance.

Terry Danca does some professional building (most recently for SWB) and as you can see from his personal BobCat, he does nice work.

The F-86 with JetCat P-70 power is Tom Dodgen's new favorite jet. Tom was very busy with our company models as well as test flying new BVM Jets for customers.

This "D" version of our Super Sabre kit has now attended its 3rd Ohio Jet Scramble with lots of shows in between. We were honored to have it close the show Sunday afternoon. It is powered by an old and reliable AMT USA Pegasus.

Mark Dawson's superbly finished Blue Angel BobCat XL with JetCat P-120 power was test flown by Tom Dodgen. Now that Mark is flying it, he is thrilled with how the BobCat handles.

Talk about old and reliable, this F-16 with Sophia power was flown on "the edge" by David Ribbe.
Super high alpha fly-bys and turns were followed by high speed passes and impressive zoom climbs. The F-16 is still a Ribbe favorite as demonstrated by this super slow, power on landing approach attitude.

Scott Harris is now ready to paint his F-86 after successfully breaking it in at Ohio. It is powered by an AMT USA AT-180 (reduced power) and works quite well. This model is from an early kit using the BVM turbine conversion package.
