Grass field operations apply extra loads and stresses to landing gear and components. Continued testing by BVM has shown that the original G10 flexplates fail a little too easily. Recently, we have tested a Carbon Fiber version and are pleased with the results. The original G10 flexplates are perfectly fine for hard surface operations, but will be discontinued. The remaining stock will be sold at a discounted price.
