9 Blade Rotor for EVF's
5% More Thrust - 50% Less Sound
This curvy 9 Blade Fan rotor is particularly effective when
installed in a challenging inlet duct system. The BVM test and
evaluation staff has flight tested the "9er" in all of our current
EVF powered jets. The performance gain and sound reduction is
noticeable and documented.
Ground and in-flight sound recordings show at least a 2 decibel
(58%) lower noise foot print. In some models the sound reduction is
3 to 4 dB and yet it still conveys the sound of horsepower.
The "9er" is retrofitable to all in-the-field EVF units and is now
standard on EVF 10s, 12s and 16s units.
EVF Sabre jet (63") owners with EVF 10S units may want the "9er"
upgrade because the performance gain is particularly noticeable in
the long and narrow Sabre Inlet. Static thrust increases by 1.5 Lbs
and the flight sound and performance are very impressive.

Paint Mask Disc
for EVF "9er"
The EVF "9er" units have a BVM purple
anodized spinner. It looks real sporty and definitely identifies the
product as "BVM". When the unit is installed in most jets, the spinner is
not visible. Not so, with the all electric A-10.
| This paint
mask disc is cut from .015" poly ply and will fit snugly
over the spinner and into the fan shroud. Apply
masking tape to complete the task and airbrush the color of
your choice with a very light mist.
The rotor assembly is very precisely dynamically balanced at BVM, so be
cautious about applying too much paint.
