Once a year, the Radio Control
Association of Central Florida (RCACF) produces an airshow. Local news
outlet advertising attracts hundreds of spectators to view the state-of-the-art
of model airplanes. They are entertained with flight demonstrations of the
entire spectrum of our hobby including: foamies, pylon racers, 3D aerobatics,
helicopters, scale warbirds, and jets.
We have an enthusiastic core group of proficient jet pilots in the
Orlando area. Pictured here are some of the most active jets guys and
their models who participated in the December 29th 2012 airshow. It was
unseasonably cold for Central Florida, which explains the extra layers of
clothing. |
