Good morning from Mexico! I write to share with you all at BVM, that yesterday, Sunday 28th, I did the first flight of my Skymaster T-45 and it flew wonderfully.

Best regards.

Hi Patty
Just made my first and second flights with my new Skymaster T38 Talon.
What a great airplane.... at first I was concerned about the tiny thin wings and the stall speed but I was way off.... the fuselage itself produces so much lift that any one who has flow a jet before will be able to handle the
T38 just fine Take offs are straight and true ( no flap required ) and the landings are very stable and easy.....
I would highly suggest the T38 to anyone looking for an easy and great looking fighter jet.

Thanks again

Hello Heather,
The Skymaster L-39 has several flights on it now and I'm very happy with it. I installed a Jet Central Rabbit 100 in it and this turbine is just right at just 2.2 pounds.  The jet needed zero nose weight to balance. Dry weight with UAT filled was only 25 lbs. Very nice flier. The CCU is a winner too. So thanks for your assistance great service.

Regards,
David

Hey Patty,
Sharing a photo with the BVM crew of my new Skymaster Cougar in the Blue Angels color scheme.  It was test flown earlier this year and is becoming a favorite for me.  Power is a Jetcentral Cheetah 160 SE and control is by Jeti.  The color scheme is brilliant in the air and my version includes a smoke system as well.

Thank you for your assistance in completing this project and special thanks to rep Jack G Diaz for his assistance with setup.

Paul Rich from Lake Worth, Florida with his Skymaster BAE Hawk 1/4.75 Scale powered by a JetCentral Rhino 160.

John Camien from New York sent us these photos of his Skymaster Panther that he says flies as good as it looks.

Greg Schock sent us some great in-flight photos of the Skymaster F-104G "Star Fighter" that was assembled and flown by the Malchione clan of Kenneth Square, Pa. It is amply powered by a KingTech K-210G engine and guided by a Horizon Spektrum 18X.

April 2015

For the 7th time, Terry Nitsch won the "Jet" division at Toledo show.  This year he entered the BVM/Xtreme "All Electric" A-10 Warthog. Terry's special finish and weathering techniques along with the droppable ordinance were convincing merits of Terry's modeling skills. This jet is powered by twin EVF ~3~ 12S "9er's".

Tim Len picked up this Skymaster A-4 off the used market and completed a major overhaul. Now the aircraft is fitted with a JetCat Titan SE. The main gear doors stay closed in flight thanks to parts designed and fabricated by Steve Burnett. Dustin performed the test flights and provided buddy box time for Tim to get acquainted with his new jet. The A-4 is just as stunning in flight as it is on the ground.

Dear Bob, Patty, Dustin and the whole BVM Crew,

I would just like to say thank you to everyone there for another great product. I attended the 59th Weak Signals R/C Expo this past weekend and for the first time in my thirty-seven years of being in the hobby I brought an air plane for the competition and display area.

Well to my surprise I ended up taking home first place in the jet category. So I thought I would just send you some pictures that where taken. I would also like to let you know that Terry Nitsch took home second place and The Best finish awards with his Skymaster F-86 Sabre. Congrats Terry.

Hey Dustin,

I flew my SM A10 at Woodland/Davis, California Aeromodelers club. My good friend Jeff Lovitt took some nice pictures!!
This was my ninth flight with my SM A10 and the more I fly it the more I like it. All previous flights where done on a 5,000ft runway so it was time to try a shorter runway.
We had zero wind and on our runway that is 600ft long it took half for the landing! So freaking cool!!! My 2 JetMunts Merlins 140 are working too perfection and the amount of power OMG!

Enjoy,
Gonzalo

Subject: To BVM with many thanks...

Dear Bob & Dustin,

I wanted to send you a note about my new Skymaster A-10 Thunderbolt II.

My new A-10 is truly an awesome jet!!   It has such a great airframe it does everything well.  Flies fast and yet can fly very slowly with “NO” bad tendencies.

The A-10 has amazing detail and excellent scale features and appearance.  The landing gear is some of the best I’ve ever seen in the industry.

I’d like to thank Dustin for his thorough check of the jet and being an excellent test pilot.  I will elaborate in a bit.  He gave me some great tips on setting-up my first twin turbine.  I really appreciated his time of reviewing all the safety concerns and procedure with operating a twin turbine safely.

As everybody knows the first flight with any new jet is exciting and the A-10 was no different.  Dustin took the A-10 off and trimmed things up and put the jet through its paces for about 6 min.  Dustin decided to drop the gear for a gear pass and the worst case scenario the left main gear was hung up.  He put some positive and negative “G’s” on the gear trying to free the gear and cycled it as well but to no avail.

So, Dustin asked me if he could “Touch” it.  I knew what he was asking and I said go for it.  Later, I thought to myself did I just tell him to go for with a 50+ pound jet he has never landed before on this paved runway.  I know Dustin’s is a good pilot but this maneuver would separate the boys from the men.

Dustin made a great low angle approach touched the right main on the hard deck and the left popped out and went around the pattern and came back and landed the A-10 without a scratch.  It was very impressive with a jet he had never flown before.  I myself and 40 other club members had an opportunity to witness a true master at his craft….

I just wanted to say thanks to you and the entire BVM Team for making my first twin turbine jet experience truly a great one.

Best Regards,
Greg Foushi

BVM Dealer Polo Ruiz from Mexico starts his future jet pilot trainees early. Custom paint scheme on a Skymaster
      Viper is race car influenced.

Pablo and his A-4 Skyhawk at First in flight in North Carolina. Pablo's A-4 is powered by a Jet Central Rhino.

T-45 Goshawk and Rhino
A great combo of airframe and engine

Dustin is all smiles about how the Rhino drives the Hawk with very convincing authority.  A couple of flights at R.C.A.C.F. on 20 Jan 2011 validated the installation as shown below.

E.C.U. and Valve mounting

BVM Carbon Fiber Adapter Plates to mount the Rhino are available.

Note:  Bypass cover is removed for photo.

 Mako 2010

The JetCat Titan powered Skymaster F-16 has been flown at many jet events by many guest pilots.  This time it was Pablo's turn, and as usual, Pablo makes a product look good.  This F-16 operates with just 6 channels of control and no mixing.  High alpha maneuvers are most impressive just as with the full size Falcon.

Top Gun 2010

The highest scoring jet in Pro Am was this Skymaster T-45 Goshhawk expertly flown by Dustin.

Note:  The jets were penalized one percent of the fight score and the tail draggers received a 1/2 % bonus.  This has been done at Top Gun for a few years to keep the jets from sweeping all of the trophies.  It worked!

BVM enjoys participating regardless of the rule adjustments.  We have won all of the categories from time to time and Mr. Top Gun twice.

Richard Curry with his Skymaster Hawk 100

This past weekend I test flew Richard Curry's Hawk 100.  After a few setup changes and tweaks we had this model flying on rails!
Richard powered this Hawk with a JetCat P-160 SX, the engine performed flawless and had plenty of power for vertical maneuvers. The
landing gear is simply amazing, soaking up the bumps of the grass runway. Together we must have put a dozen flights on this plane with zero
  maintenance required.

On November 14th 2010, Greg Foushi earned his AMA Turbine waiver with this Viper Jet 2m. I had the honors of performing the test flight, then the second flight was all Greg’s.  Greg powered this fine model with a JetCat P-80 SE converted to Kero start.  Greg reports that the aircraft flies great and is easy to land. Furthermore, the Viper Jet 2m is Greg’s first jet, I am sure it won’t be his last!

Congrats Greg from everyone at BVM and Skymaster!
