Hello Bob.

For the Viper Jet this is what I did to mine.

Attached is the rudder removal mod and hinge mode I did to my viper. It works very well. Sorry, Drawling is kind of crude. I don’t have my solid works 6 program on this computer.

For the rudder hinge mod I put ¼” wooden blocks around the exposed hinge and hysoled them into place, then I drilled them for the hinge. This works great and I have no side to side or up and down movement in the rudder.
