EDF JET JAM 2019
Elizabeth, Indiana

June 13 - 16, 2019

The sixth annual EDF Jet Jam was held June 13 thru the 16th in Rosewood, Indiana. The field has an 800 feet paved runway and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Power was available for charging.

This event was started and is still run by Bob Belluomini of Team BVM. Bob has been building and flying electric jets from the beginning. The event had great flight line management.. thanks Sean and Sam! This allowed the high performance EDF’s and slower models to be safely flow at the same venue.

The EDF powered jets now rival some turbine jets in speed and performance. BVM jets were well represented; we got a lot of compliments about the quality, speed, and flight time achieved. Rob Lynch was on hand to let folks get a flight on the buddy box. In addition to being one of the best model jet pilots around Rob is a very talented instructor, he was busy all day!

This is one of the best EDF events in the country. See you all next year.

Chris True with an original BVM T-33.

Ken LaPointe brought two models with him an original T-33 and his Maverick.

Brian Johnson borrowed Dave Evans EBandit. Brian did an excellent job flying the model. The EBandit is powered on 12S power.

Mike Warren from Colorado made the drive to enjoy some nice weather and the beautiful facility.

Terry and Sheila Nitsch poised with Terry's original Electra (wood wing version) and Sabre ARF.
Terry built and painted both models.

Terry Nitsch, Rob Lynch, and Ali Machinchy. The F-18 is not an EVF, but we delivered this model to Ali who put on a beautiful display at the noon demo.

Rob Lynch took time out of his busy schedule to provide some prospective customers with buddy box time. Below are some photos of the happy gentleman.

Dillon Cox from Texas

This young man asked his Grandparents to drive him to the event from Texas! It was an absolute treat to see such a young jet enthusiast. He got a ride on Rob’s Electra and did a great job flying it. Also, Horizon Hobby gave him a jet to fly at the event. The jet community welcomed Dillon with open arms. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of Dillon.
