Refreshing
Moving Parts with BVM "Dry Lube" |
|
Models that have been idle
for a few months or longer should be checked for
functionality before resuming flight status.
We recently inspected a
Shooting Star T-33 that needed this attention.
Application of the BVM Dry Lube (#1947) to internal and
external linkages refreshed these important control
mechanisms. |
Apply the Dry
Lube with a small paint brush allowing it to "wick"
into the mating connections. Cycle the moving parts
to maximize the lubrication process. Besides
lubricating the parts, Dry Lube will prevent
corrosion and rust. |
